What is iHealth?
Getting Started with iHealth Who can use iHealth? iHealth is for current patients of HealthEast Oakdale Clinic. If you haven't seen one of our clinicians in the past three years, we encourage you to join iHealth after you've been seen in our office. Can teens use iHealth? At this time we are not offering iHealth enrollment and secure messaging for patients who are age 11 to 17. This includes any online communication with parents of children in this age range. We have made this decision to protect the privacy of our adolescent patients. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Signing up for iHealth Follow these steps to begin using iHealth: - Click "New User" in the patient login box to sign up for a user ID and password. - Once you've registered with iHealth, you'll receive an e-mail from Medem, entitled "Thank you for registering." You'll then be able to access the Education Center and your iHealth Record. - Your provider will also receive notification that you have requested iHealth registration and would like to use secure messaging. Once your provider approves your request, you'll receive a Secure Message at the e-mail address you provided when registering. This may take a few days. Be sure to add info@medem.com to your address book so e-mails from Medem will not be sent to your spam, bulk or junk folders. Receiving messages The first time you access your Message Center, you'll be brought to the "Medem Terms of Service." You will need to accept the terms of service before you can start using secure messaging. If you have new messages, there will be a link under the "Message Center" that reads "You have x new message(s)." Be sure to add info@medem.com to your address book to receive your messages. Sending messages After your provider acknowledges your registration you'll be able to use secure messaging. To send a message to your provider, go to the heading "Create a New Message" and choose the type of message you'd like to send.
